Importance: A pamphlet by Lancelot Andrews, who was the head of the "First Westminster Company" and tasked to translate the first books of the Old Testament, which was Genesis to 2 Kings. He also oversaw the whole translation project and acted as a sort of general editor. His doctrine was Anglo-Catholic, and his life was filled with humility, piousness, and charitableness. Centuries later even after his death in 1626 many people have been influenced by him including T.S. Eliot, and even Kurt Vonnegut who has suggested that Lancelot Andrews was "the greatest writer in the English language".
